This year, we will be once again joining other families to support the Lighthouse. This cause is so important to us as "The Lighthouse" has given us years of support while we care for Francesca.

Most of my friends and family are familiar with "The Lighthouse". For those who are not, it is a place that has allowed us to care for ourselves so that we can care for Francesca. They provide quality care from people with expertise in their fields; loving interactions; and a variety of ways to keep children entertained, happy and safe.

"The Lighthouse" is not only a place for respite, but also a place for end of life care. I feel that this is such an important role as they have experts to support families before, during and after this journey.

Caring for Francesca has had many challenges. During my journey, I have not only needed respite, but also emergency care when I was not well. There are also times when I had to process news, changes and diagnosis' that were difficult to take in. "The Lighthouse" has been wonderful in accompanying me along these paths.

A place like this exists because of the generosity of donors. Please give any amount that you can. No amount is too small and everything goes towards helping families such as our's.
